History of Jordan Area (Riverton) was compiled by historians Lonnie and Annette Holt. The book was published in 1994 by the Riverton Historical Society and details Riverton's history from the city's founding through the 1990s. These records were compiled in February 1989 thanks to the help of individuals who donated materials and to Jack and Diane Stemmons who helped with the original copying.
