Animals that are impounded by Riverton City animal control officers will be held for five days so owners have time to find their pets. At the end of the five days, animals in good health will be put up for adoption. Riverton City contracts with Stone Ridge Veterinary Clinic for impound services.
If your pet has been impounded, please follow these steps:
Step 1) Call Riverton City Animal Control at 801-208-3168 to verify that the pet has been impounded.
Step 2) Pay the intake fee at the City Hall reception window; collect receipt.

Step 3) Take your receipt to Stone Ridge Veterinary Clinic to verify you have paid the intake fee and collect your pet.
