The Riverton City Choice Awards for Excellence in Education are designed to recognize students and educators who pursue excellence in education. The Riverton City Council takes great pride in honoring two students and one educator each month during the school year for their educational achievement and effort. In presenting these awards, Riverton City rotates through schools in Riverton and schools in nearby communities that serve Riverton residents.

Award recipients are chosen in close coordination with local school officials. Nominations are not open to the public.
