CenterCal Properties Releases Exciting Plans and Details for Phase II of Mountain View Village

CenterCal Properties, LLC, presented new renderings, video and more detailed plans for Phase II of Mountain View Village lifestyle development, to local dignitaries on Aug. 20, 2020, on the construction site at 4533 West Kestrel Range Road, Riverton, Utah. The full-service commercial real estate company with properties throughout the Western United States opened Phase I in 2018 with an anchor grocery store and national retailers.

Mountain View Village Phase 2 RenderingNew renderings for Mountain View Village that features a welcoming Americana architecture, show five pocket parks with special touches such as accommodations for yoga classes, games for adults and children, outdoor seating for office workers taking a break and a convenient corner park. The largest open area in the L-shaped lifestyle development is the Plaza, with a state-of-the-art show fountain featuring dancing waters and colored lights choreographed to music. A covered Pavilion with a market hall-inspired design, will include a blend of eclectic eateries with shared common indoor seating and additional outdoor seating. CenterCal Properties will plant 1,700 trees and 10,000 plant species to create a lush atmosphere throughout the property.

Mountain View Village’s design reflects the look of a town built over time, including Building J, an iconic Library Tower, providing a peaceful anchor to the Yoga Plaza. Additional retail, entertainment and dining experiences gradually will be announced for the 85-acre property that is centered in one of Utah’s fastest growing communities.

CenterCal confirmed that Cinemark Theaters will open a 14-screen luxury movie theater complex across from the Pavilion that will be hugged by retail stores and restaurants. Building M, a four-story structure currently under construction next to Cinemark, will feature a three-story glazed window feature with LED lights that can display concerts, games and even fireworks. Building M provides spacious, creative commercial spaces on the top three floors and small retail shops on the ground floor.

The stunning architecture and attractive landscaping combined with excellent dining, entertainment and shopping options, will make Mountain View Village a natural gathering place for our community.”

Phase I of Mountain View Village presently includes a Harmons Grocery Store and Fuel Stop, a wide variety of more than 35 retailers, businesses and dining choices, and a stunning 10-foot high “Majestic” eagle bronze statue created by renowned sculptor Brian Keith. Phase II will feature additional Norman Rockwell-style bronze sculptures being created by Keith, honoring the community’s brave people working for the Unified Fire Department, the National Guard and Riverton City Police. Mountain View Village General Manager David Anderson, Mayor Staggs and Riverton Chief of Police Don Hutson unveiled a new plaque honoring Riverton City Police, which was added at the base of the Majestic statue along with plaques for Unified Fire and the National Guard.
