Court tickets or fines should be paid in full by the due date. In most cases, the Judge will allow you to make monthly payments towards your fine. If you cannot pay a fine amount when it is due, you must contact the court to discuss your options. If a due date passes and you have not made your payment and you have not contacted the Court, you may be in violation of your probation, or may be in contempt of court, and a warrant for your arrest will be issued.

Online Payments

Riverton City offers an online payment option for court tickets and fines. If paying online using a phone or mobile device, you’ll need to turn your phone into landscape mode to see the button to process your payment. If you have received permission to complete traffic school, please complete your payment online. Please contact the Justice Court for further instructions at or  385-237-3444 (email preferred).

Deferred Prosecution

  • If you get a ticket, Deferred Traffic Prosecution can keep points off of your driving record.
  • If you qualify, you pay a fine like a normal ticket. But the charge gets dismissed if you have a clean record for 1 year.
