Not Your Parent's Art ShowCome see original art pieces created by dozens of young local artists, all age 18 and younger, at the Not Your Parent's Art Show at the Old Dome Meeting Hall in Riverton, Utah.

Exhibit Dates: February 6-28, 2024
Exhibit Times: The show is open Monday - Wednesday, Noon - 5p.m., or by appointment.
Public Open House: February 5, 2024 from 6-8 p.m.
Artwork Entry Details: It's free to enter! Artists must be age 18 or younger but do not need to be Riverton residents.
Artwork Entry Period:
January 10-26, 2024 | All artwork entered must be accompanied by a completed submission form.

High school students from across Jordan District are showing off their artistic talents with an art exhibit at the Old Dome Meeting Hall. The artwork displayed is juried through the school art teachers and feature everything from paintings and drawings to sculptures and photography. The pieces are unique and colorful, all created by young student artists. 

Congratulations to all the amazing young artists in Jordan School District.

The Utah Division of Arts and Museums traveling exhibitions Utah Watercolor Society's exhibit at the Old Dome Meeting Hall in Riverton features the artistry and innovation of nationally acclaimed watercolorists. Curated under the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, this display showcases the remarkable talent and diverse styles of these renowned artists. All-State High School Show

hsThe purpose of this exhibition is to foster original visual art among Utah teenagers by providing a professional forum for student artists. This exhibition is the result of an ongoing collaboration between the Springville Museum of Art, high school teachers, students, and various private partners. A panel of professional artists and arts administrators carefully studied each of the 1,093 entries from around the state to select the works of art featured in this exhibition. Comprising of hundreds of artworks from 105 high schools across Utah, this exhibition represents the promise of this young generation of artists.

Riverton Quilt Exhibition
Come see dozens of quilts made by local quilters on display at the Riverton Quilt Exhibition at the Old Dome Meeting Hall. Free and open to all. Non-juried.

Quilt Entry Period:
October 14-28, 2024
Quilt Entry Details:
All quilts entered must be accompanied by a completed submission form and delivered to the Old Dome Meeting Hall. Quilts must be show-ready with a 4" sleeve to hang the quilt. Quilts and other entries may be hung on rods or draped. Click here to learn how to put a hanging sleeve on your quilt. Limit of two quilts per quilter. Please attach a label to the back of each piece that includes the name listed on our entry form and title of the quilt, if applicable.

Utah Division of  Arts and Museums Traveling Exhibition - 125 Years of Collecting

125In 1899, Alice Merrill Horne, inspired by her lifelong education in the arts, introduced The Art Bill into the Utah State Legislature. Signed into law by Governor Heber M. Wells, the bill created the Utah Institute of Fine Arts, America’s first state-run arts agency. 125 years later, the Institute of Fine Arts has grown and evolved, with shifting names and missions. This traveling exhibition showcases a small selection of artworks collected over the decades. From recent acquisitions of living artists to artworks illustrating the state’s early history, discover the talent and variety of some of Utah’s finest artists.
