The Historic Preservation Commission seeks to identify, preserve, protect and enhance historic buildings, sites, monuments, streetscapes and landmarks within Riverton that are deemed historically significant. The commission is composed of seven members. At least one member represents each of the five council districts and two members represent the city at-large. Members are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.


Meetings
Meetings of the Historic Preservation Commission are held at least four times per year. Meeting dates, times and locations are publicly noticed prior to happening.
