Councilwoman Tawnee McCay
District 3 | Term: 2022-2026

Tawnee McCay grew up in beautiful Cache Valley, received her MBA with an emphasis in Financial Planning and has committed her life to service and helping individuals and municipalities improve their bottom line. She has worked as a Financial Advisor, Adjunct Faculty, Congressional Campaign Treasurer and USU Financial Counseling Center Director. She is an avid reader, loves international travel and planning family vacations. Tawnee and Dan have been married for 22 years and are parents to six amazing kids. They enjoy watching their kids play sports and love attending the many Riverton City events. She loves volunteering including PTO president, being a foster parent, helping refugees and at the food pantry. She doesn’t like overreaching government and works fiercely to protect taxpayer dollars.
