The Riverton City Council is the legislative branch of city government. The council, consisting of five elected members from distinct districts, holds all power to adopt ordinances, pass resolutions, establish city policy, establish strategic priorities, regulate zoning, establish city fees, create long-range plans and set regulatory standards for the provision of city services.
