Tree Commitment
Riverton is home to tens of thousands of trees, with nearly 5,000 being city-owned and maintained. The city has been named a Tree City USA for 14 years for its dedication to trees. An urban forester is employed by the city and is a resource for residents with questions about tree varieties, planting, and care. A tree planting workshop is held near Arbor Day each year and is open to anyone interested in attending.
