Question. Persuade. Refer.

QPR Suicide Prevention TrainingAbout QPR Suicide Prevention Training
QPR is to suicide what CPR is to cardiac arrest. QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer: the three steps anyone can learn to help prevent a suicide. Riverton City sponsors a free monthly QPR Suicide Prevention Training open to all, with a focus on youth suicide prevention. If enough people in the community are trained to recognize the signs of suicide and intervene appropriately, we can reduce the number of suicide deaths in our youth.

Who should be trained?
Riverton City encourages everyone who has contact with children and adolescents to be QPR trained, including: coaches, employers, neighbors, parents, teachers, school staff, church leaders, and others.
