Adult Pickleball Leagues
Leagues: Players sign up individually and play in groups of 4 to 5 players in this 4-week ladder league. Mixer ladders are any combination of female and male players. Skill levels may be combined depending on participation numbers and court allocation numbers. Skill level must be verified for league play from 3.0-4.0+ by one of the following: DUPR, USAPA, or Global Pickleball Network skill ratings.
Scores and Standings: Click here to view your scores and standings. Specific ladder links will be emailed or texted after the first day of play. All players will be listed whether a registered member or not. Registered members skill rating will be trackable.
Ladder positions are based off percentage of points possible, not ranking. Be sure to sort correctly under Weekly Points.

*Unrated players wanting to register above 3.0 need special permission from the league directors, Becca Caughey or Teresa Dillingham.
*Player playing up with 85% or higher must maintain at least 50% of points possible to remain on the higher ladder.

Pickleball

Skill Division Expectations
Intro to Pickleball: You will learn the fundamentals of pickleball including game rules, scoring and basic strategies to give you all the tools you need to sign up for the 2.5 league.
2.5 League: A player who may be inexperienced, can sustain a short rally and is learning to keep track of the score.
3.0 League: Someone who understands the fundamentals, knows how to keep score and understands the basic strategy. This player lacks consistency and controls of shots.
3.5 League: A player who consistently hits drives, serves, returns, dinks and drop shots. This player understands basic strategy and is starting to vary shots between hard and soft game.
4.0 League: Individuals who can recognize and exploits an opponent's weakness. These players have a moderate number of unforced errors.


PickleballYouth Pickleball Leagues

Leagues: Youth pickleball now offers three skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. 
Beginner pickleball is designed for those who have never play pickleball before and do not know the rules. Players will learn how to keep track of score and will practice sustaining a short rally. Players will receive instruction and practice skills with some game play.
Intermediate pickleball is for players who know how to keep track of the score and can sustain a short rally. Players will practice skills and play games.
Advanced pickleball is for players who control their shots well and understands strategy. These players understand the advantages of playing at the kitchen and offense and defense.

If several children from the same family are at a different skill level, they should register in different classes.
Players should bring their own pickleball paddles. Some paddles will be available for use.

Youth Pickleball Tournament
Round robin tournament with boys, girls, and mixed teams. Skill levels ranging from 2.5-4.0.

Pickleball Court Reservations
Court reservations for four courts are available from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and cost $200.
Reservations must be made in person at Riverton City Hall at least two weeks prior to the event.
Courts are not available on an hourly basis.

Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in style with Riverton City's Round Robin Grand Rally Pickleball Tournament on July 4! In this tournament, matches will be played to 11 points, ensuring fast-paced action and thrilling rallies. We’ll play a round-robin format with no single elimination to follow. Tournament winner will be decided as: 1) Team with the most wins, 2) Head-to-head, 3) Point differential.
