Given the current environment caused by COVID-19, the Riverton City Council has postponed Town Days until Fall 2020. Details will be posted here when available.  This page has not yet been updated with 2020 information.

Riverton Town Days Parade
The Riverton Town Days Parade is one of the largest and best local parades in Utah, drawing many thousand spectators each year! On average, the parade features over 80 entries ranging from marching bands and local businesses, to dance teams and political candidates.

Parade Route
The parade begins at 1930 W on 13400 S, then moves east and turns left on Redwood Road, then proceeds north and turns right onto 12800 S, and then moves east to conclude at 1300 W.

NOTE: All streets impacted by the parade route will be closed between 5:45 and 6 p.m. on July 3.

Please be respectful of private and public property by not saving space along the parade route until Saturday, June 29, at 8 a.m. at the earliest.



Parade Entries
Businesses and organizations who would like to place an entry in the Riverton Town Days parade must fill out an application, which can be downloaded at the button below. No fee is charged to Riverton residents, businesses or organizations. A $20 fee is charged to non-Riverton businesses and organizations.

Applications are due by Tuesday, June 18. Space is given on a first come, first served basis.

Parade Grand Marshal
Residents are encouraged to submit nominations for the Riverton Town Days Grand Marshal. Selection will be based on contributions to quality of life in Riverton, humanitarianism, personal achievement, etc. The deadline to submit a nomination is June 1, 2019.
