Starting New Service
Prior to having a new water meter set for a newly constructed home, you will be required to meet with the Building Department. The builder must sign up for water service to have a meter set.
For both existing and new construction accounts a completed application and settlement statement from the closing of the home are required. Applications can be submitted online, via email, or in person; please visit our applications page for details.
Please contact the Riverton City Utility Billing Department to cancel your service after you have sold your home. Homeowner must fill out a termination request, which can be found here. Riverton City will read the meter for a final billing.
